At Sten Lodge, all bookings and payments are handled exclusively through Booking.com. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for your stay with us.
1. Booking & Payment Platform
All reservations and payments for Sten Lodge are processed through Booking.com. By completing a booking on Booking.com, you agree to their terms and conditions, payment policies, and cancellation rules.
Sten Lodge does not process payments directly.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
All cancellation and refund requests must be handled through Booking.com:
- How to cancel: Log in to your Booking.com account and manage your reservation
- Cancellation rules: Depend on the rate/room type you selected at booking
- Refund processing: Managed entirely by Booking.com according to their policies
Sten Lodge has no control over refund amounts, timing, or policies. These are determined by:
- The rate plan you selected when booking
- Booking.com’s general terms and conditions
- Payment method and bank processing times
3. Changes to Your Reservation
To modify dates, room type, or guest details:
- Contact Booking.com customer service directly; or
- Manage your booking through your Booking.com account
Changes are subject to availability and Booking.com’s modification policies.
4. Property-Initiated Cancellations
In the rare event that Sten Lodge must cancel your reservation due to unforeseen circumstances (extreme weather, safety concerns, force majeure), Booking.com will:
- Notify you immediately
- Process a full refund according to their policies
- Assist you in finding alternative accommodation if possible
5. No-Show Policy
If you do not arrive on your scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation through Booking.com, the no-show policy stated in your booking confirmation will apply. Refunds for no-shows are handled by Booking.com.
